About

Hi! I'm Gabi Vaughan.

I'm a wife and mom to two young girls, with a lifelong love of design, vintage furniture, and the kind of colorful, quirky treasures that make a space feel alive. After a decade in New York City's design industry, I co-founded The Crumbling Project, a boutique property development venture with my husband. There, I led design, project management, and financial planning for two successful property renovations in NYC and East Hampton. Following the sale of those projects, I relocated to South Central Pennsylvania to be closer to family.

I am excited to see where this new chapter leads and to discover the opportunities, connections, and adventures that lie ahead.

After nearly a decade immersed in NYC’s vibrant design world, I built my career at the intersection of creativity and strategy. I oversaw all of Vitra’s showrooms across North America, implementing national showroom standards, leading seasonal updates, installations, and spearheading trade events. During my time at Carl Hansen & Søn, I worked to shape the visual story of their NYC flagship space. My work has always focused on the products themselves—educating clients about furniture designers, the quality of each piece, and the care that goes into how they’re made while also creating environments that feel thoughtful, inspiring, and a little unexpected.
